My objects
My object I chose for show and tell the first week of school was a picture of my babies. My 2 year old twin nephews Dre and Kash. In the picture they had on there matching superman pajamas with the little capes on the back, they were about one and a half in the picture, and their both smiling and everytime i look at it it makes me happy. I keep it framed on my nightstand so when I wake up in the morning there the first thing I see. I have four sisters, my second to oldest tara, she is 24 gave birth to Dre and Kash two years ago on July 19th, literally one of the happiest days of my life. I spent most of my summer there, she lives in columbia now but at the time she lived in boonville. Getting to watch her grow in her pregnancy and then to be there when she had them was beautiful, a little cheesy but it was. I remember the day she called me and told me she was pregnant, and I remember the day she called me and told me there was two and the day i found out they were 2 boys. But i will never forget the first time seeing them and holding them, they were little tiny pale creatures, I was so proud to be an auntie, and going into the room my sister was in and seeing how happily worn out she was, that was the first day i ever really saw her as a women, not a girl anymore. She looked older, but a good older, it suits her. Now shes a mommy to toddlers who wear superman cape pajamas to bed, the babies are all grown up, and they are perfect.

Your nephews are adorable and I liked how you described how that was the first time you saw your sister as a woman. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI bet those little boys are just crazy about their Aunt Allie! I love how you describe your sister as "happily worn out" and how the way you'd always seen her changed after these little people came into your lives.
